FirstNet® for First Responders

FirstNet Public Safety Networking

RELIABLE, DEDICATED, AND HIGHLY SECURE COMMUNICATIONS

In response to the attacks of 9/11, public safety organizations across the country lobbied Congress to establish a single, interoperable network dedicated to public safety voice and data communications. The result was AT&T FirstNet, a nationwide broadband network specifically designed to meet the communication needs of firefighters, police officers, EMS, and other emergency first responders.

FirstNet consults with local, state, tribal and federal public safety agencies to improve mission-critical communication between first responders. It is truly unique: FirstNet is the original broadband network for public safety agencies created by public safety agencies.
