Our Web Hosting provides a full suite of hosting solutions including both shared and dedicated web site hosting, and server co-location. The fact that we own or share all of the hosting equipment our solutions run on, means that we control all of the software choices and can customize the settings to meet our clients’ precise requirements. By eliminating the potential response time issues of dealing with a 3rd party host, we are also able to ensure faster deployment time for our clients’ mission-critical initiatives, and provide consistently high response time across all service categories. Or where we use secure servers we use ONLY the best services available.

We can host our own Clients solutions and therby guarantee a secure stable environment, with 'Managed', 'Supported' hosting services, for any size of application. But we can also offer Basic secure hosting as part of our Support & Maintenance contract for a small monthly fee.

Your new MeanWeb website is hosted free of charge for 3 months on a secure server, where your information is kept, backed up daily and protected from hackers. The server is a superior server to guarantee fast delivery speeds when people browse your website. Your e-mail is also protected and any issues resolved by us. After 3 months, if you want to carry on, we charge a small monthly fee €10 and  for Support & Maintenance of as little as €10 and with this we offer up to 10 minutes of support by phone or e-mail. Any time over this is billed by the minute.

Below is the Technical description of what type of server we use and why, if you want more detail.

Your new website is built using ASP.NET running off a MS SQL database and IIS6 with various ISAPI extensions for links sin the URL bar. Its ideal running environment is a Windows based server.

Unix is a far superior OS in our experience, it can handle large loads and its much cheaper than providing a Windows based server. Which is why Hosting companies such as Namesco purchase Unix servers, install control panels on them and in turn this enables them to host hundreds of websites on 1 computer. This is why they can charge something like 4 EUR per month and make a profit, its cheap and extremely basic, but not fast or secure.

With regards hosting or e-mail or server upkeep, Spam and Firewall, we generally just charge Clients a small monthly fee to cover maintenance, daily backups and support, for which we handle anything that happens to sites, servers or hacks etc etc. 

Clients can host elsewhere and indeed can select not to pay us a monthly fee for Support & Maintenance, but if they do we bill every minute by the minute. If hosting is done elsewhere our guys have to go to that server to maintain, upgrade or resolve issues, so the billing gets considerably higher because of the actual time required. Here we edit on our local server and update changes within seconds, thereby saving us time and the Client money. We can also upgrade solutions or make amendments very quickly, especially if your editor does something that needs to be fixed up by us.
