Web Pages
A web page is a document created with HTML (HyperText Markup Language) that is part of a group of documents or resources available on the World Wide Web. Collectively, these documents and resources form what is known as a web site.
There are certain factors you should look at when creating a web page for your website.
1. Make sure the title of your page makes sense. One of the core attributes of a web page is its title. This is the first thing not only visitors to your web page see, but it is also the first thing Search Engines look at when indexing your web page resulting in positive or negative search engine results. You should also think about the web page you are about to create, and what you would enter into google yourself, and give the title accordingly.
People pay attention to page titles, so you should make sure that they are clear. If you have a web page on how to take care of rabbits and you happen to have a rabbit named ‘Bugs’ don’t title your page: ‘How to look after your favourite furry friend, Bugs .’ You should title your web page something like: ‘How to take care of rabbits.’
2. Don't over use bold, underline, italic, links, CAPS when entering text on a web page
Text is harder to read on a screen, then it is on a piece of paper, so don't over complicate things. When reading from a screen it is fine to have a few tags along the way to emphasis the main points on your web page.
You SHOULD however, avoid overdoing it with these tags. If you take for example the paragraph above.

3. Links should go somewhere relevent: If you are going to create a link within the body of your text, take time out to make sure it is going to the page it is supposed to go to
4. Avoid Under Consturction Text: Only put a web page on your website when it is ready to be up there. There is nothing more annoying for web browsers then, clicking on a link to something that interests them only to be met by and under construction sign.
5. Keep web page structure consistent: It is important to keep all your web pages consistent with the rest of the site. There may be one or two web pages that require slight differences, but it is very important browsers of the site dont feel like they have left your website when they are viewing different web pages on your site.
6. Standard Navigations: Make sure you have a standard navigation. This is along the same lines as the previous point but deserves to be noted on its own. It is important to have a left navigation and/or top navigation throughout the site so a visitor can browse to different web pages on your website. When the visitor browses to different pages to your site they should see the same navigation on all pages.
